Our world is full of work to do. Artificial Intelligence (AI) transfers paid jobs from people to automated robots.

As a result, AI-companies suffer lay-off-image and Governments suffer increased welfare costs - as men, women, children turn lifelong un-employed, ill, violent, criminal.

Best practise to cope with this situation is an AI-thank-city. Here anybody may apply to receive free housing & energy, free food & clean water, free education & mobile data, free sports facilities & medical care.

And: 

Anybody may start any free enterprise, and pay with talents (payTal). 

Anybody may qualify for work he/she/it does voluntarily:  Care & services, security guards, education, cooking, farming, cleaning & mainantance, health & sports training, and many more - all you can think of.

Everybody is welcome. Old & young. Rich & poor.  Work-alcoholics & lazy-bones. Any nationality. Any religion. Men. Women. Children. Divers.

AI-tank-city provides unconditional fulfilment of basic human needs. As a result, in AI-thank-city people solely work voluntarily. Thus all work is done with love. What a joyful = healthy life in this city?

With AI´s transfer of paid work from people to robots, the slogan 'no employment = no living = no life' is outdated.

AI-thank-city overcome: Mass-migration, poverty, townships, theft, murder, social in-equality.

AI-thank-city reduces administration & welfare costs of countries (sky-rocketing un-employment benefits, invalidity, security), as they invite individuals prior to turning helpless & thus expensive.

AI-thank-city learned from success & miss-management in ghettos of South-/North America/Africa/India, in Sovjet collectives, German DDR show down, AUROville/India.

Lessons learnt: Compared to these urban models of yesterday, today a selection of digital tools (Doodle, The Project50, CIP Continuous Improvement/KVP aso.) enable advanced self-organization as well as advanced self-control.

Start with €/CHF 10.000.000.000 for 50 towers with each 45 floors. Each floor hosts 32 units:  

60´000 flats become a home for 250´000 people (50 x 40 x 32).

10´000 flats become workspace for small business (50x5x32).

Include the 250´000 people applying for a flat/workspace to maintain their AI-thank-city. Make sure they exploit self-organizing & self-controlling platforms via their mobile phones. Teach them in project management - including quality improvements.

From their ancestors they have knowledge in healthy living - anyway.

Feedback by Eliot Tagwirei: "One of the strongest insights for me was the shift from treating unemployment, crime, and illness as isolated societal problems to viewing them as symptoms of unmet needs. This perspective reframes the conversation from managing consequences to addressing root causes.

I was also particularly intrigued by the concept of replacing employment with contribution. The idea that people could be valued primarily for the contributions they make to their communities, rather than their ability to secure traditional employment, presents a profound rethinking of how society may function in an AI-driven future.

As I reflected on the vision, several questions came to mind, especially around implementation:

• How do we move from today's cities and economic systems toward an AI-thank-city model?
• If ownership, power, and human self-interest are among the greatest obstacles, what governance structures could ensure that the system remains inclusive and avoids concentration of power?
• What economic mechanisms would sustain such a city during its early development stages before the benefits of large-scale automation are fully realized?

Perhaps the question that interests me most is:

What is the smallest viable version of an AI-thank-city that could be built and tested today?

I find myself increasingly drawn to the practical pathway between vision and implementation. The concept is inspiring, and I am particularly interested in understanding the governance, community-building, and project-management frameworks that could transform the idea from a compelling vision into a functioning reality-"
